As the national environmental protection policy puts forward higher requirements for Yuxing, at a time when production and sales are booming, Shan Miao, based on the height of competing for the future development space of the enterprise, took the initiative to shut down all production workshops in 2016, focusing on the treatment of wastewater, waste gas and solid waste, taking the recycling and utilization of three wastes as the main means, and relying on the advanced technology of Tsinghua University, carried out a six-month comprehensive environmental improvement, Cleaner production and resource recycling have been basically realized. In this comprehensive transformation of environmental protection, 130million yuan was invested, and more than 70million yuan was invested in the biochemical system alone. After the transformation, Shan Miao solved the development hardware problems left over by the history of Yuxing, making Yuxing the first person in environmental protection management of domestic iron oxide production enterprises. Shan Miao was mindful of the overall situation of green development in the industry, provided all pollution control data for the general survey of industrial pollution, promoted Yuxing to edit the two evaluation guidelines of green products of iron oxide pigments and green factories of iron oxide pigments, and participated in the compilation of the national green standard of pollution discharge permit application and legal technical specifications for the coating industry. In October, 2019, with the support of Yixing municipal government, Shan Miao hosted the green development conference of China’s iron oxide industry, making due contributions to promoting the green development of the whole industry.
